Imani Initiative is dedicated to empowering this generation by
helping them find, know, and love Jesus through outreach and
community. Our Initiative’s main focus is sharing the gospel and reaching out through giving back to the people of the Lord.
The Swahili word "Imani" means faith, inspired by Hebrews 11:6, highlighting the importance of faith in our mission.
02The problem is 40% of students, both boys and girls, in East Africa are out of school due to pandemic and pre-pandemic factors.
The problem is 40% of students, both boys and girls, in East Africa are out of school due to pandemic and pre-pandemic factors.
For the girl child, studies in Kenya found that 95% of menstruating girls missed between 1-3 days per month with 70% of them reporting unsatisfactory grades and 50% reporting falling behind in school because of menstruation. This leads them to drop out of school and are therefore subjected to early childhood marriages and/or joining the workforce pre-maturely.

Our objective is to build powerful women and men of God not only in faith but in their callings by making a pathway in education.
We promote this objective by providing school supplies and examination papers. For the girls, we ensure access to feminine hygiene products like pads, and underwear. A privilege many African children are not afforded.
